Access Control

Doors and intercoms — controlled, logged, and revocable in seconds.

Keys get lost, copied, and forgotten. Credentials can be revoked and reissued instantly — no rekeying. We install commercial access control on Paxton and UniFi Access — managed remotely, logged to the second, and re-issuable in the time it takes to make a coffee.

Control who gets in

Know who's coming and going, without a key to lose.

Lost keys and old fobs are a liability you don't notice until something goes wrong. We install UniFi and Paxton access control that revokes instantly when someone leaves, keeps a clear log of who went where and when, and scales from a single door to a multi-site setup without starting over.

What you get

Doors that know who's who.

DOOR SURVEY

Walk every door, assess frame and hardware, identify controller locations, and plan cable routes before any work begins.

CONTROLLER & READER INSTALL

UniFi or Paxton door controllers, card readers, and electric strikes or mag-locks fitted and cabled to standard.

CREDENTIAL SETUP

Fobs, cards, or mobile credentials issued and assigned per user — with access groups so people only get to where they need to be.

ACCESS SCHEDULES

Time-based rules configured per door and per user group — contractors, cleaners, and staff on different schedules.

DOCUMENTATION

User list, access group config, admin credentials, door test sign-off, and a full software handover — logged in, walked through, and ready for you to manage day one.

Still cutting keys in 2026?

Access control fit for 2026.

Physical keys are an HR headache, a security risk, and a compliance gap. Electronic access control solves all three — and gives you an audit trail you can pull on demand.

  • 01

Lost keys mean re-cutting for everyone?

A revoked card or fob takes 5 seconds. A re-cut key for the whole building takes a week and a locksmith.

  • 02

You can't prove who was in the building when?

Time-stamped audit logs of every door event are a click away. Exportable to CSV for HR investigations and insurance claims.

  • 03

Cleaners and contractors have permanent keys?

Time-restricted credentials let them in only during scheduled hours. Revoke when the contract ends, no key-collection awkwardness.

  • 04

Different doors run on different systems?

One platform, one credential, one login — whether it's a fire door, a main entrance, or a side entrance. Federated across multiple sites if needed.

How we do it

Five steps. No surprises.

Every project follows the same path — so you know what's coming, when it's coming, and what we hand over at the end.

01
SURVEY

Walk each door, assess frame and hardware, identify controller locations, and plan cable routes.

02
DESIGN

Controller spec, reader type, credential format (fob, card, or mobile), access groups, and an itemised quote.

03
INSTALL

Cable pulls, controller mounting, reader fitting, and door hardware.

04
CONFIGURE

User credentials, access groups, time schedules, door-held alerts, and anti-passback all set up and tested.

05
HANDOVER

User list, access group config, admin credentials, door test sign-off, and a full software handover — logged in, walked through, and ready for you to manage day one.

Services we provide

One installer, six service lines.

Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and connectivity — designed and installed as one connected system, not six separate vendors.

01 / 06 — Wi-Fi Solutions

Wi-Fi

Dead zones and dropped calls usually trace back to one access point doing the job of three. We survey the building first, then design coverage around how it's actually used — not a generic box-count.

Survey
Predictive heatmap before any hardware goes up
Hardware
UniFi wireless access points
Roaming
Fast, seamless handoff between access points

02 / 06 — Network Infrastructure

Network Infrastructure

A network is only as reliable as the switch it runs through. We install managed switching and VLANs that separate what matters from what doesn't, so one bad cable doesn't take the whole site down.

Structured cabling cable management in a data rack
03 / 06 — Structured Cabling

Structured Cabling

A patch panel that's a mess of unlabelled cable is a problem waiting to surface at the worst time. We run structured cabling that's documented from day one, so faults get traced in minutes, not hours.

Cable
Cat6a F/UTP as standard, Cat6/6e on request
Termination
Patch panels clearly labelled and cleanly integrated
Testing
Tested and labelled, every run

04 / 06 — CCTV & Security

CCTV & Security

A camera that's been pointed at the wrong angle since installation isn't security, it's decoration. We design coverage that actually catches what matters, with footage you can pull up in seconds when it counts.

Coverage
Full perimeter, entry & blind-spot coverage
Hardware
4K IP cameras for sharp, reliable image quality
Storage
30-day NVR retention, remote viewing

05 / 06 — Access Control

Access Control

A master key that's been copied a dozen times isn't access control, it's a liability. We fit systems that show exactly who went where and when, with no spare keys floating around.

Doors
Fob, keypad or biometric entry per door
Hardware
Paxton Net2, Paxton10 or UniFi Access
Audit
Full entry log, instant lockouts on lost fobs

06 / 06 — Connectivity

Connectivity

A site running on a single broadband line with no failover is one outage away from a full stop. We design connectivity with the right circuit and a backup path, so the internet going down doesn't take the business with it.

Circuits
Leased line, FTTP and 4G/5G failover options
Failover
Automatic switchover, no manual reconnect
Starlink
Satellite backup for sites with no fixed-line options
